Assessment of Efficacy of Nimesulide in the Treatment of COVID-19 Infection

Objective: There are different anti-inflammatory drugs that being used in patients with moderate to severe COVID-19 infection. However, mild infection, Nimesulide treatment might impede the inflammation a superior safety profile. Therefore, this study is intended assess anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activity of Covid-19 infection.
 Methodology: This was an uncontrolled longitudinal conducted at Pakistan Institute Medical Sciences Islamabad. The duration about six months. A total 66 were enrolled. All received 100 mg along 10 ml sucralfate suspension two times day for five days. Patients elevated C-reactive protein or further comorbidities prescribed 250 azithromycin D-dimer (above 500) other enoxaparin dose 60 subcutaneously once daily Primary outcome estimated terms percent change oxygen saturation, hospitalization, death.
 Results: results showed 31(47.0%) females 35(53.0%) males. mean saturation on presentation 93%±7.9. 24(36.36%) had levels < ng/ml, while 30(45.45%) >250 ng/ml significant difference between them (p=0.025). 16(24.24%) 49(74.24%) did not found (p<0.001). 47(71.2%) 19(28.8%) (p=0.03).
 Conclusion: concluded resulted rapid temperature fall within Furthermore, also significantly improved treated Nimesulide.
